ITINERARY
Start at Moors Valley or Brockenhurst with Bike Hire, local café and wide open tracks and good Singletrack.
For those that want to learn the MTB basics including the attack position (see below) which is essential to have fun when riding off-road on Singletrack.

RIDE 2. Medium - Blue Routes
3 Hr Social or Intermediate Skills Rides up to c35 km...

ITINERARY
If you are fit and healthy and can cycle for circa 3 hours already but want to explore the local woods and tracks, we are happy to lead a loop with up to 35 km on off-road trails, with lots of singletrack, a few technical trails and a river crossing too... followed by café or pub to finish on request...

RIDE 3. Intermediate - Orange Routes
Faster Pace Rides up to 4 hrs / 50km

ITINERARY
If you’re an enthusiastic mountain biker, you’ll love this off-road half-day adventure package, with a faster pace, techie forest tracks and great views, finishing 3 to 4 hours later with stops...
please bring water and snacks there are no cafes or shops...

ITINERARY
Only for fit cyclists, who want to explore the singletrack at a faster pace, you need to have good all round MTB skills and be used to riding singletrack at pace,
WHERE - Three Route options
1. c55 km Railway Pub, Ringwood, North Ringwood Forest & Holt Heath on hilly and interesting singletrack... with great views...
2. c50 km plus around Brockenhurst, New Forest - for wide open tracks and flat-ish trails... with a few sections of singletrack too and with great scenery...
3. c50 km Corfe Castle and the Isle of Purbeck - big hills, great singletrack, DHs and amazing coastal views to the IOW for miles along the Jurassic coastline...

Start and Finish at Brockenhurst take in the Tall Trees (Blackwater Arboretum some of the tallest trees in Britain) and Bucklers Hard (18th century shipbuilding village where ships were built) and Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary:

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...
WHEN RIDING MOUNTAIN BIKES
WHAT MOUNTAIN BIKE TO RIDE
You will need a serviceable mountain bike, with proper off-road tires, with front suspension recommended for local rides and full suspension for red routes and trail centres.
MOUNTIAN BIKES - REPAIRS
You are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of your bike - we only help with running repairs and punctures, with advice and tips provided while riding - Please ask about discounts available from local Cycling and Bike Hire shops.
FITNESS - Mounting Biking can be strenuous...
You need to be fairly fit and used to riding a bike for over one hour without stops, if unsure check with your family and friends or if in any doubt your Doctor please!
WHAT TO WEAR -
Recommended
Cycling gloves, tough trainers / lightweight boots or even better cycling shoes... Padded cycling shorts, and a good water-windproof.
PLEASE NOTE you will NOT be allowed to ride
without a Cycling Helmet.
